Some of about 1,500 people displaced after cyclone Haruna lashed the Indian Ocean island three weeks ago live in tents on March 12, 2013 at camp set up in the Tulear military camp. The tents house 10 persons, and the displaced complain about lack of food and medecine at the camp. The February 22 storm, which killed 26 people and affected nearly 40,000 more, forced thousands of people to cram into emergency camps or battle it out at home in devastated villages. Now villagers have to eat grasshoppers -- occasionally grilled in parts of the country -- which are cooked with a little water and salt.
